Are the Jews still God's chosen people? is today's state of Israel a fulfillment of God's prophecy?

Are the Jews still God's chosen people? do they still have a purpose to fulfill as God's elect? is the state of Israel a fulfillment of biblical prophecy? the answer is no and in this article I will go over the reasons why the Jews are no longer God's elect and have no greater purpose than the rest of the peoples of the world and why today's Israel has nothing to do with any prophetic fulfillment.

Today many if not most Christians believe that the Jews are still God's elect and are blessed by God because of it and the state of Israel is a fulfillment of bible prophecy, I used to think so as well, until I realized that in truth not only the Jews are no longer God's people many are of the devil, of course not all of the Jews are evil, I come from a Jewish family and am Jewish myself according to my mother but for the most part Israel and its people are very far from God, probably further than they have ever been.

Lets begin with the promise God made to Abraham, God promised Abraham that his seed will reign forever and his descendants will be as numerous as the stars...; "4And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; 5Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws."  (Genesis 26)

This is a very powerful statement that God made here, he has promised an eternal blessing to Abraham and his seed, his descendants will be as numerous as the stars, now lets think about this for a moment, numerous as the stars, there indeed have been millions of Abraham descendants over the ages and at some point Israel was very large and its population was quite dense but still at no time past or present did the descendants of Abraham the Jews were even close to be counted as many as the stars, was it just a figure of speech? or perhaps it has a much deeper meaning than just a suggestion of many. you see any word could be described as many, but why as many as stars? how is it possible? the only explanation is that Abraham's seed will continue into eternity much after the age of man and sin is over, you will need a very long time to have as many people as the stars in the universe and of course we know from Isaiah and astronomy that the universe is ever expanding which means it never stops growing which means there will be always new stars born so basically what God was promising Abraham is that his seed will never end and his descendants will keep multiplying into eternity, this makes perfect sense and syncs with Galatians;

26For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:26-29;

This also brings me to my next point that Abraham's seed are those who are in Christ in other words God's elect or followers of messiah, you can say and think as much as you want that you are God's elect because you are a Jew by birth right but the truth is if you are not following messiah you are not of God and if you are not of God you are not a Jew. keep in mind that in messiah there is neither Jew or Gentile, we are all one, so the sad truth is that the Jews who call themselves Jews today are actually not Jews at all.
Now keep in mind there are people around the world who never heard of messiah but are following him nonetheless unaware because they are following their conscience and keeping God's commandments which is what messiah taught, these people can be called Jews because they are of God, those who keep God's law are God's people whether they heard of messiah or not.
Messiah himself mentioned to the pharisees that being of Abraham seed means nothing if your fruits are bad..."

7But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: 9And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 10And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. (Matthew 3)
From these verses we can see how the seed of Abraham is actually those who bring forth good fruit and are of God. already Jesus was condemning the Jews of his days by calling them generation of vipers.
Nothing really changed, the Jews of those days are the Jews of our days and even worse.
Recently some one pointed few scriptures that  prove that God is not done with the Jews;

I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying,
Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded. Romans 11:1-7

and

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.

In Romans 11 Paul is speaking about how there is a very small remnant(7 thousand from all Israel!) of his people(believers) and the rest are blinded because they are not worthy (verse 7) so Paul was among the very very few elect, it was always about the few elect that were chosen even today the true elect are very few, who knows maybe you the reader are among them? ;)

Verse 26 is not that literally ALL ISRAEL will be saved obviously because there are some very evil men even in Israel today, if literally ALL Israel would be saved then there would be no need for repentance or keeping God's commandments because every one would be saved anyway, so what does it mean all Israel?
Paul explains this in verse 27-28 that a messiah will come and take away the sins of those who believe in him, even though the gospel is offered to ALL not ALL will accept it.

Why would the Jews today have any special purpose? Messiah accomplished what the Jews could not, he took the place of the animal sacrifice and put an end to sin, salvation was made available not only to the Jews but to the rest of the world, the Jews not only failed as God's elect they killed his son the messiah!

I used to think that since I am a Jew I am God's chosen  but the truth is Jews are those by heart and faith and not by name or title or mother.
The only reason Jews were selected as people to begin with was because God needed some one to prove how incompetent and weak we are as sinful humans in teaching holiness and living righteously, so the Israelites were selected because of Abraham but God knew all along the Jews would fail, he knew before the foundation of the world that he will send a messiah to fulfill his plan because there is no other way, and sadly the Jews are no longer needed because messiah said so himself "it is finished" everything is paid in full, done.
As of today there is not even an option to build a temple and its for a reason because there is absolutely ZERO need for it and what good are the Jews if they are not attending their priestly duties? their Job was to be God's ambassadors and they failed, salvation went to the rest of the world, some how the Jewish leaders today think they still have God's favor even though they are without a temple.

Many also believe that today's Israel is a fulfillment of many bible prophecies.
With a little bit of reading into the text of the eleventh chapter of Isaiah we can safely conclude that God's promise had not come to fulfillment as of yet. I could go over all the verses in the bible that people use to prove Israel today is a fulfillment of biblical prophecy but all I need is just one verse in Isaiah 11.
11 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

The chapter begins with a description of the messiah and how he will judge with righteousness and wisdom.

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

Then it continues in describing how the earth will look like, all animals will be vegetarian and they will not hurt each other and neither they will hurt humans.
So far it is safe to conclude that after reading these verses these things will happen during the millennial reign.
Then we keep reading...;
10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

 Tell Aviv in Israel has been voted by far the favorite gay destination to travel in the world

God's people?

We can clearly see that God will return his people a second time and when will that happen? during the millennial reign! we don't need any more evidence about when that will happen, it is quite clear from this chapter.
There are those who claim God has partially started to collect his people into the land of Israel, but we know this is false because a) Israel today is NOT the fulfillment of the second return b)God's elect are those who believe in him and keep his commandments. I don't know if you ever been in Israel but there is not much godliness happening there, the Israeli population for the most part are secular, the few hundred thousands of modern day pharisees AKA Jewish orthodox are not following God since they don't believe in their messiah and the number of true believers is so small that you could really understand why messiah said that the road to life is narrow and few are those who find it.

John 5:18 - Jesus did not claim to be equal to God in power and authority but rather in actions and teaching

Today I heard a pastor preach that John 5:18 some how proves that Jesus is God almighty because the Jews wanted to stone him for claiming he is equal with God the father therefor he himself is God almighty.

18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

The truth is this is another example of how teachers take verses out of context to teach something that is not there, Jesus NEVER claimed to be God or equal to God in power or majesty, he simply stressed to the Jews that he is the son of God, he was of God which means he was righteous and holy which made the Jew Pharisees very angry and envious of him, they knew in their hearts who he was but they sought to kill him because messiah was a threat to them so they looked for any possible way of accusing messiah of blasphemy.

19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself,

Does that sound like he is claiming to be God almighty? lets keep reading.

but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

Jesus explained to the Jews that what the father does Jesus himself does in other words Jesus is copying the fathers actions and teachings because it is the father who gives him the words and actions, it is the father who creates the laws, it is the father's will not Jesus.

20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
It is interesting to note that in verse 23 the father sent Jesus, if Jesus and the father are one in Godhood (part of the trinity) then it would mean Jesus plan is the fathers plan which would result in both of them sending Jesus not the father alone would send him, not to mention that the holy spirit is rarely mentioned, it is usually the father and the son. why would the father send Jesus if they are both God almighty? is the father greater than the son? if he is than they cannot be considered as one because they are not equal parts of a whole. of course we know from scripture that the father is much greater than the son, messiah himself stresses this to his disciples numerous times in  (John 14:28),John 8:28, 1 Corinthians 11:3
we continue in verse 24

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Messiah continues that whoever has faith in the father has faith in messiah and vice versa because what messiah taught is the same thing God taught since the beginning of the world, to keep the commandments of God!

26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

Once again it is the father who gives life, Jesus cannot make anything of himself out of his own authority without the father.

27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

God the father gives messiah authority, Jesus does not take any thing by his own right, some claim that Jesus was stripped completely off his Godhood when he became a man which of course brings a whole new bunch of problems and contradictions.

30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me
Again messiah explaining that he himself is powerless, EVERYTHING he does comes from the father. doesn't sound like he is claiming to be God almighty does it? in the same chapter he is claiming to be equal to God in power and authority but also saying that he cannot do anything without the father? isn't that a contradiction? of course it is and sadly so many teachers teach this type of doctrines without following up with the rest of the context of the chapter and what is even more sad that the people in the churches who listen to these pastors are led astray because they themselves don't read the scriptures and find on their own what they mean, the people get their doctrine from the church and pastor and the pastor gets his doctrine from Christian scholars and the scholars are deceived by the evil one.

So as we can see from these verses alone Jesus DID NOT claim to be equal with God in power but rather in teaching and actions, he was definitely not claiming to be God almighty, I don't even believe that the Jews really believed that is what messiah was claiming, they simply were outraged that he was claiming to be the "son of God" calling God his "father" for them this alone was blasphemy, imagine how the pharisees would react if Jesus would go around Jerusalem and claim to be God almighty in human flesh, he would be stoned on the first day of his ministry!!
This is the reason why Messiah was not found guilty when he was judged by the council after his betrayal by Judah, even with all the false witnesses they could not find any guilt in him!

Matthew 26:59
59Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death; 60But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none

The only thing messiah ever claimed to be is the son of God the messiah.

63But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. 64Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Now you see how the teaching of John 5:18 claiming Jesus is God as completely false? Jesus never claimed such thing as being God almighty in flesh, the Jewish leaders and even the common folk would be outraged of such claims, and the council would definitely find enough witnesses to accuse him and find him guilty, but since Jesus never claimed to be God they could not condemn him.

I will end with a passage about Jesus doing the exact opposite from what trinity believers claim he did, in Mark 12:28-34 Jesus completely agrees with the Jewish scribe about the most important commandment and the true identity of God, notice that the scribe is in complete agreement with Jesus that God almighty is a HE.

28And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? 29And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31And the second is like, namelythis, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 32And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he33And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. 34And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

Peace and understanding to you all.

Why we should not try to predict the time of messiah's return

For many years there have been throngs of predictions and people claiming to be prophets who tried to predict the exact time of messiah's return to earth when he judges the evil by destroying them and setting his kingdom for the thousand year reign. guess what? all the predictions failed! why you may ask? well for the very simple reason that we are NOT suppose to try and estimate messiah's return, it is simply wrong not to mention impossible!
By trying to predict the time of his return we would actually do exactly the opposite from what messiah instructed us to do, he ordered us to constantly watch and live in holiness until his return;

He will come like a thief in the night

36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 48But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; 49And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 24)

in verse 42 he touches this exact point of why we are not supposed to know the exact time of his return and why we should never try to predict it but rather be constantly ready, because if we would be able to predict the time of his return then first of all there would be insane panic among Christians, mass suicides(fear of the apocalypse) and other religious insanity, but the main reason is probably because if we would know the exact time of his return such as the year for example people would live in sin instead of holiness up until that year and repent in the last minute which would completely beat the purpose of messiah's entire ministry where he preached to keep the commandments and live in holiness and preach God's kingdom to the nations.

This life is a test and whoever does good in this life God will entrust them with greater things in the life that will come.

We do know how his return will look like

Having said all that we know that we should not try to not only predict his return but also any event leading to that.
However we will know how his return will look like;

Matthew 24

29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

We know the sun will be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, other verses tell us that the moon will be like blood

Joel 2:31
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
Act 2:20
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
Revelation 6:12
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.;

According to these verses prior to the coming of the son of man the sun will be completely dark and the moon will become as blood and stars will fall from the sky.
It might be a blood moon or eclipse of some kind but it sounds like something much more fierce and terrible than just a blood moon will take place on earth.
According to Revelation 6:12 we know that the plagues and the 6 seals happens before the return of the messiah, knowing this and that there is no such thing as pre wrath/tribulation rapture means we are ALL going to be here when this starts to happen.
14And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Technological singularity, how the ungodly see the future of the human race

So be prepared at all times and keep watching because his return is very near indeed.
People throughout the last 2000 years said his return is near but they did not witness what we do today.
God allowed an explosion of knowledge and corruption in the last years of this last age, the amount of information we have gained in one century surpasses all of the knowledge ever conceived by all man kind and as much as I have respect for the ancients and their advanced technologies they did not come close to what we have today, scientists today can manipulate DNA and mix different creatures and biological life with other biological life completely corrupting God's original design, genetically engineered organism(GMO) food is one example of how far we have come and in how much danger we are in, GMO will eventually be the way the enemy will seize all food and patent it and since GMO crops already infect non GMO crops this is like a disease that is spreading and is almost unstoppable, farmers in India are committing suicide in the thousands because of GMO infected crops, they simply cannot pay the biotech companies that own the patent on the crops so in order to erase the debt in India if you end your life all debt is erased.
The devil is working extra hard  to destroy everything that God has created.
Scientists are working on merging humans with machines and eventually transferring the mind into a machine and gaining immortality through technology, this is of course a very satanic plan which will never work but the devil deceives all these poor men and women into believing that the future is bright, through technology, through progress, they tell themselves we don't need God or any one else we can live forever by our own way, when the sad fact is that we as living creatures are dying, the entire world is dying, our genetic code is deteriorating to a point that in few generations we will not be able to continue as species, cancer and defects will be in such high numbers reproduction will be impossible, scientists know this fact and is why they are working around the clock towards research on moving their own bodies into machines and living for eternity in these metal abominations, these visionaries and corrupted scientists take great pride in these insane dreams and it makes perfect sense to them, if they only knew where their ungodly ambitions will eventually lead them, only to death unlike God who only leads to life.

Just by looking at the types of weapons of war and mass destruction that nations across the globe posses(drones with lasers that can evaporate you in an instant miles up in the sky, tiny bee size drones that can assassinate a person without a trace, ION bombs, nuclear bombs, etc etc..)
it is just a matter of time before we as man kind annihilate ourselves, it is inevitable and it will happen unless God put's an end to this madness which is known as the human history. with some spiritual understanding one can see that this world is held back from its own destruction by an unknown force this same force holds the fabric of our existence together from the tiniest of atomic and molecular level, all is held together like glue by the creator, it is the only logical explanation why we are still here writing in blogs instead of being evaporated into oblivion.
time is almost up, the reap is ripe and the time of the harvest is near, live holy, keep God's commandments and believe what messiah taught, the lamb of God the one who died for the sins of the world.

God bless you. amen.

Keep the Sabbath or not?

Some believers claim that since Messiah died for our sins we are no longer to obey the law but have faith in him because all of our sins are erased, but does that really what Messiah himself taught?
Lets dive into really what Yeshua messiah kept stressing and teaching his followers regarding the commandments of God.
Even though it is not recorded that any one kept the Sabbath before Moses gave the 10 commandments from mount Sinai to the Israelites it does not mean the laws did not exist, just as Cain knew pretty well what he was done was wrong when he murdered his brother Abel even though he did not receive the law from mount Sinai, God punished him because he was guilty, God condemned Kane by saying "What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground. 11And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand" (Genesi 4:10) God judged Cain and rendered him guilty according to his own holy law because Cain knew the law. Cain knew murder was wrong even though it never happened before. we can safely assume the ten commandments existed long before Moses gave them to Israel officially, God's word is part of him and is him, his laws are not something that he suddenly made up one day, it is part of his infinite character, our world's history is the first and the last time he would ever have to punish and judge his creation according to the law but it was and always will be part of who God is.
we also know that the law of God is in every man's conscience; 12For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 14For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and theirthoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) 16In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. (Romans 2:12-16)
Paul is explaining that every one will be judged according to what they knew BUT every one will still be judged according to the same law, the ten commandments.
How can any one be found righteous in the eyes of the Lord if he is not judged according to a law? and by what law will any one be judged? by the law of God of course!
Past present future, it matters not, every one will be judged according to their works(according to the the law of God).
How else Abraham and other saints were found righteous by God? how else was Yeshua messiah found sinless if not keeping the law flawlessly? the Ten commandments is a universal standard that God uses to judge man kind and decide who love him and who does not, If ye love me, keep my commandments. (John 15:14)
 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. John 15:10

Jesus kept stressing to keep the law of God, he even explained that by keeping it is how one earns eternal life.
Matthew 19:16-22
16And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?  17And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good?  there is  none good but one,  that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

Matthew 5:17-20
17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.  18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach  them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed  the righteousness  of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Notice what Jesus himself said here "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."
the ten commandments stand as they did from the creation of the world and will stand until the old heaven and earth pass away and the new comes and all is fulfilled, heaven and earth has not passed away yet which means the LAW abides!
Also notice how much Yeshua stresses the importance of teaching the law and clearly warns that those who teach that the law does not abide will be considered the least in the kingdom.

How can we pick and choose which commandments we obey and which not? do we obey "do not murder" but do not obey "keep the Sabbath holy?" isn't being a hypocrite cherry picker? you either keep all the commandments or do not keep them at all, there is no half way. it is said in scripture if we stumble in keeping one of the commandments we fail to keep them all! (James 2:10)

In a simpler way, if the law would not exist today then there would be no sin, you cannot commit sin if there is no law in place that you can break! In other words you cannot break a law that does not exist. common sense.

I hear Christians say all the time, we are saved by grace not by works. but they forget to compare scripture with scripture, we are saved by GRACE through FAITH, and what James says about Faith without works? it is a dead faith!
having said that, we are saved by GRACE through FAITH with WORKS. or we are saved by WORKS led by FAITH by the GRACE of GOD almighty.

There are many scriptures that tell us all men who ever lived will be judged according to their works, good or bad.  Matt 16:27, Romans 2:5, 2 Cor 5:10, Matt 7:21, Rev 20:11, Rev 3:5, Ex 32:33, Rev 22:14, Rev 22:12.

To deny keeping the Sabbath is to deny the forth commandment, to say the forth commandment was only to the Jews is a very faulty statement because it means that the entire law was only for the Jews which means only the Jews can sin, when Gentiles sin they don't really sin since the law does not apply to them which of course we know cannot be true, Yeshua said to the woman go and sin no more, he preached that is better to lose an eye or a hand than to sin, he stressed of the importance of living holy life without sin, why would he preach not to sin if his death would cancel sin anyway? well because his death replaced animal sacrifice and gave those who believe in his sacrifice pardon to their sins but did not abolish the law! Messiah himself stressed that very important point in Matthew 5:17-20!
the new covenant is a better covenant but by no means a completely different one, God is consistent he does not change his mind.

We either keep the law of God or we don't.
Also there is a good reason why the gospel of Yeshua is backed up by four different accounts, it is because Satan has corrupted so much of the new testament and the only way to find the truth is to compare what Yeshua taught, if we have four different witnesses claiming the same thing we can rest assured it is truth, Yeshua taught to keep God's commandments and that includes the Sabbath, he is the way, the truth and the life.

"remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy", remember that God loves his children that is why he gave us his ten commandments, those are commandments of love, because God is love, the Sabbath day is for every one to take a day off and spend time with God and their families, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath (Mark 2:27), if so happens you need to work or break the Sabbath God will understand, as long as your heart is true and you love God with honesty that is all he wants from us, to show him our love in truth, honesty and all humbleness.

Shabbat Shalom!
